I am really writing this post in the airplane to Australia. We have spent our last two days in sunny Auckland, staying in an apartement on the 10th floor of a building almost in front of the harbour of Auckland and in the heart of CBD Auckland. We watched the sunset from a pier of the harbour and had a relaxing and quiet stroll next to the sea and around the centre of the city. Nice way to spend our last evening in NZ!

For the final day we kept the visit to the skytower of Auckland. The view from 180m above ground was amazing. We saw some of the famous mountains - volcanos on which the city is built and watched small humans and small cars rushing around their business.

A whole month has been over! How fast time passes and how amazing time did we have in these two islands of Aotearoa! I don't really have to say anything about the things we tried and saw during this past month, as they are described either shortly in the different spots during our travels or in detail in the few posts that we have written. But we both feel so sad to leave New Zealand. This country is somehow combining the two countries we are from. It has the green surroundings and the mountains of Switzerland, but it has the weather of Greece. I don't know if it is clear from my words, that if New Zealand was a bit closer to Europe, it would be considered by both of us as a place to live. Unfortunately (or fortunately our parents will say), it is too far away and we are not prepared to go so far away of mother Europe.

Kia ora Aotearoa! You will have a special place in the heart of both of us from now on!
A new chapter in our adventure is awaiting us now, starting from Melbourne! Let's see!
